Climate Change and Environment Governance
This programme aims to leverage on existing environmental governance systems within government to advocate for solutions to the environmental challenges. Here, structural gaps in implimentation and legislation are identified for advocacy.
We build the capacities of communities to understand climate change, mitigation, adaptation and to identify linkages between the environment and human rights. Communities are empowered to identify and monitor enemies of the environment i.e polllution, deforestation, environmental degradation e.t.c and how to cub pollution and deal with environmental toxic chemical poisoning. The most vulnerable of humanity remains the most dependant on the environment and remains the most affected by climate change.
