She is a lawyer by profession with 12 years experience having graduated from the University of Nairobi in 2005.
She holds a masters degree from the University of Dar es Salaam and graduated in the year 2013 having majored in Constitutional law, Human Rights law and East Africa Community law.
Her research work was in environmental law with the focus on the enforcement of law on conservation and management of forests with a case study of Mau Forest.
She has successfully been able to work both in the private practice and government.
She is currently a lecturer at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology (JKUAT), School of Law in the Department of Law, Science & Technology.
In the pursuit for further education, she is a PhD candidate of Environmental Law with the Center of Advanced Studies of Environmental Law and Policy (University of Nairobi) basing her research work on environmental liability studies in respect of compensation of injuries brought about by environmental toxic exposure.
