An Environmental Journalist

A 33 year old, is an environmental journalist in Kenya. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies from the University of Nairobi.
He has been engaging himself in advocacy, education and environmental matters for the past five years and also had the opportunity of working with Sudan Catholic Bishops Conference in South Sudan between the years 2012 and 2014 as a Communication Assistant.
Having spent the past four years working exclusively in the disaster stricken areas as a communication and humanitarian officer, he has acquired both extensive experience as an event planner and also as an organized and detail-oriented work ethic individual to the position.
As a Communication Manager, Cyprian has executed many communication duties gaining experience in organizing fundraising and networking opportunities, writing project proposals and writing reports to our donors. He is also skilled in finding the appropriate venues, entertainment, security, transportation, vendors, and promoters.
He is also actively involved in Environmental education, advocacy and conservation. He has been able to mobilize communities so as to confront environmental challenges facing them by promoting environmental rights with an emphasis on minority social groups. This has been achieved through partnership in environmental projects, development and implementation.
